THE ROLE OF INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL ABILITIES OF THE MUSEUM OF CRIMEA AND NOVOROSSIYA

Abstract (English):
There is the impact of interactive technologies on the educational potential of the Museum of Crimea and Novorossiya, part of the museum-temple complex ‘New Chersonesus ’ in Sevastopol examines in the article, the exposition of which consists of twenty immersive exhibition halls. A panoramic LED all-round viewing system, gaming modules, touch screens, interactive simulators, rooms, kiosks, tables, and a number of other interactive technologies coexist, complementing each other, which corresponds to the trend towards hybrid museum space. With the help of the described interactive technologies, the visitor can choose the format and pace of mastering the space independently, which is in tune with the strategy of selfeducation and the demandfor individual tours and personalized courses; such an organization of the exhibition combines visual perception, tactile interaction and analytical activity. There is also notes the transformation in the system of “museum-visitor” relations under the influence of interactive technologies in the article. The key characteristics of interactive technologies the authors see as dialogicity, instant feedback, involvement of visitors through multisensory channels of perception and game mechanisms. These features are especially significant for the educational and upbringing functions of the museum and contribute to the formation of stable cognitive connections between the personal experience of the visitor and cultural and historical knowledge. The article may be useful for cultural scientists, museum curators, specialists in the field of museum pedagogy and additional education in the field of culture, as well as anyone interested in modern interactive technologies and museum work.
