The article discusses current issues of improving the project management system in the construction industry. The main focus is on analyzing existing problems in the management of construction projects and developing practical recommendations to improve their effectiveness. The authors explore modern methods and tools of project management, adapted to the specifics of construction production. Special attention is paid to the optimization of time and material resources, risk management and quality control at all stages of construction The paper presents the results of an analysis of successful project management practices in domestic and foreign construction companies. Based on the conducted research, specific mechanisms for improving the organizational structure of management, staff motivation systems and methods of monitoring the implementation of construction projects are proposed. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of applying the proposed recommendations to improve the efficiency of managing construction projects of varying complexity and scale. The materials of the article can be useful to the heads of construction companies, project managers and specialists in the field of construction management. Subject: The subject of research is "Project Management" as a separate discipline with its own methodology, concepts and tools Materials and methods: the research is based on a comprehensive analysis of regulatory documentation and publications of scientific articles. The following methods are applied: comparative analysis, deduction, theoretical analysis and synthesis, method of analogy. Results: It is proposed to develop and optimize an internal organization standard based on GOST R 57363-2016 for a specific organization. Conclusions: The implementation of an internal standard of the organization, developed on the basis of GOST R 57363-2016, helps to increase transparency and manageability of construction projects, reduce risks and optimize costs, which, in turn, provides a competitive advantage of the organization in the construction services market. This approach allows not only to formalize project management processes, but also to create a unified corporate culture focused on achieving the goals set.
