Abstract (English):
The last battle of the Second Russo-Turkish War of 1768–1774 took place in the Crimea, at Shumy near the town of Alushta, already after the peace treaty had been signed in the village of Küçük Kaynarca (now in modern Bulgaria), but this news did not yet reach the opposing sides. The course of the event has been studied not only according to archival and already published sources, but also with archaeological research methods. This article has summarized some of the results of these complex studies.
