The study of podcasts as a media format allows for a deeper understanding of the transformation of content creation and distribution methods in the digital age, as well as the evolution of the relationship between the audience and media resources. This format provides a platform for self-expression not only for professional media professionals, but also for representatives of the target audience, which leads to a variety of genres and conceptual content. The article presents the features of podcast functioning, their genre diversity, the specifics of creation and interaction with the audience.
