В статье изучается деятельность журналиста, музыканта, киноведа, общественного деятеля Анатолия Владимировича Голдобина (1882–1927) на посту ответственного руководителя КрымРОСТА (декабрь 1920 – ноябрь 1923) и ответственного редактора газеты «Красный Крым» (март-август 1923). Изучен вклад А. В. Голдобина в развитие журналистики информационных агентств и печатных СМИ в Крыму, а также в подготовку журналистских кадров в регионе (школа журналистики, курс лекций для рабкоров, библиографический указатель). В научный оборот вводятся корпусы документов из Государственного архива Российской Федерации и Государственного архива Республики Крым, позволившие раскрыть подробности журналистской работы А. В. Голдобина в Симферополе с декабря 1920 г. по ноябрь 1923 г., а также его публикации в газете «Красный Крым» и литературно художественном сборнике «Помощь», дающие представление об идейно-политических и художественных взглядах автора. Журналистская и общественная деятельность А. В. Голдобина показана на фоне социально-экономических преобразований первых лет советской власти, проходивших в Советской России и в Крыму, в тесной связи с общими закономерностями развития системы партийно-советских СМИ и Российского телеграфного агентства (РОСТА).
